For the full breakdown of this weekend in Professional Golf, check out the January 31st episode of Stick & Hack Reacts.

It was a fantastic weekend for Stick & Hack Reacts host Keith Stewart, who last week predicted that Luke List would be the champion at Torrey Pines.  At the Farmers Insurance Open, List won in a Playoff, with 90 to 1 odds. Immediately after, he went straight to his wife and daughter to celebrate his first Tour win.

The Saturday night primetime finish was the perfect viewing experience, especially with such an exciting finish. There was no shortage of characters this weekend. Will Zalatoris lost by a missed putt (we’re all hacks sometimes), letting his first tour win slip away. It’s tough to pick on just one putt, but we’re marking down Zalatoris’ short game as “needs improvement”.

Lydia Ko won her 17th LPGA victory at Boca Rio

At only 24 years old, Lydia Ko outpaced Danielle Kang for her 17th career win. She won by one stroke after sealing the deal on the 17th green through heavy winds.

Victor Hovland, number 3 in the world, finished four under for the last 3 holes. He’s won three of his last five events, making him a definite one to watch.
