Nestled in the rolling hills of Southern Indiana, French Lick is far from another fly-over town. The hometown of Larry Bird saw FDR’s presidential nomination, the rise and fall of the lucrative product Pluto Water, and the birth of a thriving tourist destination now 100 years strong. Now, it’ll also be the home of the 2022 Stick & Hack Challenge.

Play a Round

French Lick Resort & Casino is home to two golf courses designed by legends Pete Dye and Donald Ross. Although the scenic landscape made for an architectural challenge (Dye even insisted that he couldn’t put a golf course there at first), the work was well worth it for fairways nestled in vistas, and a riot of color in the fall.

Take a Risk

This isn’t your run-of-the-mill casino floor. With table games like blackjack and roulette, a high-limits section, and over 700 slot machines, there’s plenty of room for high risk and high reward.

Kick Back and Relax

Take a moment to de-stress between rounds or surprise your spouse with a massage while you’re out on the course. The Spa at French Lick offers massage sessions, body wraps, manicures, and facials to name a few. (plus, if you’re in town for the Stick & Hack Challenge presented by OnCore golf, you get an extra $10 off any single service spa treatment. Just mention your reservation at check-in, and we’ll get you the discount code)

Take a Hike

If the 36 holes are not enough for you, take a stroll up nearby Buffalo Trace for another long walk in nature. The trailhead is just off of French Lick Resort & Casino and allows for stunning views in every direction.

If you head down in the height of summer, scenic Patoka Lake is less than 30 minutes away. Rent a kayak or pontoon for the afternoon for a bit of fun in the sun to bake off any particularly rough rounds on the Dye or Ross Courses.

Grab a Drink

Okay– we know what you’re really wondering. Where’s the bar? French Lick Resort is conveniently home to Valley Bar. Stop in for regional craft beers, your favorite cocktail, and a selection of wines, along with a menu to feed any craving.
